First Serve Sunday is an opportunity for both church members and new guests to experience the joy of serving in a simple, entry-level role—no long-term commitment required to get started! First Serve Sundays will be each first Sunday of the month. It’s a chance to worship through action, connect with others, and discover how serving can be both fulfilling and fun. Whether it’s greeting, hospitality, media, or another area, this day is designed to help you step in, try something new, and be part of making church a welcoming place for all. Come serve, grow, and see how God can use you!
Serve Teams Info
Welcome Team
Greeter – The first smile people see when they walk in! Greeters warmly welcome everyone, answer basic questions, and help newcomers feel at home.
Resource Center – Provides information about church events, small groups, and how to get connected. Helps guests take their next steps in faith.
Hospitality – Prepares and serves refreshments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Usher – Assists people in finding seats, helps maintain a smooth service experience, and collects offerings.
Parking – Guides cars safely into parking spots, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure for guests. First impressions start in the parking lot!
👉 Impact: Helps create a warm, inviting church experience that encourages visitors to return and get connected.
Media Team
Creation/Capture Team – Designs visuals, graphics, and videos to communicate church messages powerfully. Captures our best moments together in the church services and our events to share on our Social Media and Website.
Copywriting – Crafts engaging captions, announcements, and content to inspire and inform the congregation.
Social Media – Manages online platforms, sharing stories, event updates, and encouraging engagement.
Website – Maintains and updates the church website to keep information current and accessible.
👉 Impact: Helps spread the church’s mission beyond the building, reaching people online and inspiring them to take their next steps in faith.
